Somalia featuring Hibotep Interview

This show features an interview with the incredible Hibotep. She talks about some of her favourite artists, her Somali background and the music scene in her current home of Kampala in Uganda.

There are a few tunes selected from some incredible compilations including Dancing Mogadishu // Somalia 1972-1991 (Analog Africa Nr. 29), Sweet As Broken Dates: Lost Somali Tapes from the Horn of Africa and Super Somali Sounds from the Gulf of Tadjoura which focusses on the band 4 Mars.
