Gabon

During my research for the show, I watched a beautiful film called Gabon - The Last Dance. In the film they stated that in Gabon 'Medicine and music are the same thing.  A good healer is a good musician'. This is a wonderful way to think about music and is a concept that I have always subscribed to.

This show covers Sokous, Makossa, Funk, Rumba and some of the traditional Bwiti music of the region.

This was a guest show on the wonderful radio and community Love Will Save the Day.
